Laurence Reisman: Despite muscular dystrophy fight, Vero Beach boy remains positive
In many ways Skyler Bragg is just like any other boy heading into fourth grade.
His mother drives him to school. He has a favorite animal, a penguin. And Skyler would rather play video games than do school-required reading.
But Skyler’s not your average 9-year-old.
He’s not a math whiz, piano prodigy or can’t-miss baseball prospect. It’s much more than that, said Mark Rendell, Indian River County schools superintendent.
