Dr. Amato received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of California, whose graduate school has repeatably rated first in the nation. He believes educating patients on their bodies’ basic bio-mechanics and underlying limitations is vital to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent re-injury.
Dr. Amato began working as a CureDuchenne Cares Certified Therapist in 2017 through the Duchenne Therapy Network. In addition to his work with muscular dystrophy, he continues to provide outpatient orthopedic care at Sevento7 Physical Therapy. He is happy to return to the OC area, having completed his BS Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
