Gihan Tennekoon is an attending neurologist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a professor of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Gihan Tennekoon completed his MBBS from University of London, England followed by Residency in Internal Medicine from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, United States.

Dr. Tennekoon’s research interests include stem cell biology, neurofibromatosis and biology of myelin forming cells. His areas of expertise are degenerative disease of the nervous system, neuromuscular disease, etc.
