Dr. Poysky is internationally recognized as an expert on muscular dystrophy, and is chair of a muscular dystrophy expert panel coordinated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC). He is a contributing author to “A Guide to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy”

Dr. Poysky completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Seattle Pacific University. He attended Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary to earn accreditation by the American Psychological Association. He then earned a Masters degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Christian Leadership, and completed clinical training rotations at the University of Southern California, UCLA, and a variety of other locations. Upon completion of his pre-doctoral internship, he graduated from Fuller in 2002 with a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
