Dr. Nancy Kuntz is Professor of pediatrics and child neurology (Ken and Ruth Davee Department) at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, with additional board certifications in pediatrics, electrodiagnostic medicine and autonomic Medicine. Dr. Kuntz is also Medical Director of the Mazza Foundation Neuromuscular Disorders Program, the PPMD Duchenne Care Center and the MDA Clinic at Lurie Children’s.

Dr. Kuntz did her MD from Boston University with residency from Johns Hopkins Hospital in pediatric. She then did her fellowship at Mayo Medical School in Pediatrics Neurology and Clinical Electromyography where she was trained in child neurology and clinical electromyography and gained experience to treat neuromuscular disorders such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy in children.

Dr. Kuntz’s interests lies in the development of less invasive methods for diagnosis of DMD and other neuromuscular disorders in children at peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction and muscle. She focuses on treatment of neuromuscular and autonomic disorders such as DMD in infants, children and adolescents.
