Dr. Randal Charles Richardson is currently working as a physician specializing in pediatric neurology at the Children’s Minnesota. He is also the director of the neuromuscular program at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. He is on the list of the medical advisory council for CureSMA.
Dr. Richardson’s areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric-onset disorders of the peripheral nervous system. He is a board-certified child neurologist and neuromuscular neurologist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Richardson received his medical degree and master’s in Neurophysiology from Brown University. He completed his MD from Warren Alpert Medical School, Providence. Dr. Richardson’s pediatric residency was performed in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska at Creighton University and Nebraska Medical Center. His child neurology and electrodiagnostic medicine training were completed in Seattle, Washington at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital where he remained as full-time clinical faculty after completion of his training (2009–2013).
