Dr. Apkon is a Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. She is also the Director of Rehabilitation Medicine at Seattle Children’s. She is interested in treating children with acquired and congenital disabilities including cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Apkon is also interested in spasticity management, including the use of botulinum toxin injections and phenol injections. Her research interests include clinical trials in children with neuromuscular diseases, osteoporosis in children with disabilities.
