Dr. Tim Lotze is a specialized neurologist working at Department of Neurology, Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Lotze is also the current Clinic Medical Director and Pediatric Neuromuscular Specialist with Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital.

His clinical and research interests include pediatric demyelinating disease (Acute Demyelinating Encephalomyelitis, Transverse myelitis, clinically osolated syndromes, multiple sclerosis, and leukodystrophies), neuromuscular disease to include muscular dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, neuropathies, and myasthenia gravis, and neuroimmunological disorders.

Dr. Lotze is also the Director for the Pediatric Neurology Residency Training Program at Baylor College of Medicine. He is also associated with Cooperative International Neuromuscular Research Group as one of the Principal Investigators and as a consultant with National Multiple Sclerosis Society Clinical Advisory Committee.
