Young men with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) typically live into their late teens. Today there is no cure, and very minimal treatment is available for DMD, but that can change and has been changing greatly over the past 4 years. Braedan’s Bridge, a non profit 501(c) (3) organization, was started by Braedan’s parents, Scott and Tammy Henegar, to help raise funds and awareness for DMD. Braeden is a 13-year-old boy suffering with DMD. The mission of Braedan’s Bridge is to build a bridge of awareness to end DMD. Braedan’s parents have faith and hope to improve the lives of children suffering with DMD. The funds collected by this organization are used primarily for drug-research to provide benefit to the children suffering with DMD.
