summary/abstract:

Objective:
The last three decades have seen significant improvements in clinical care for patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Consequently, international guidelines on Standards of Care in DMD were introduced in 2010, providing recommendations for diagnosis and management. We explore the impact of progressive implementation of these Standards of Care on key clinical outcomes in patients with DMD from the North of England and managed within our tertiary centre for neuromuscular diseases.
